Alexander Morton Homes Scotland Ltd, an Ayrshire based building
company has placed on the market seven four bedroom detached Sandpiper
homes at the company's Ardrossan South Beach development .
Alternatively another Alexander Morton Homes luxury development
is located at Kilmaurs, Ayrshire and orders are now being taken
for the three four-bedroom detached Sandpiper homes, three five-bedroom
detached Kingfisher homes and five four-bedroom homes in a new luxury
housestyle.
Alex Benson, sales manager, says: "Good modern designs must
make the best possible use of light,' says Alex Benson. We've done
everything we can to maximise the feeling of light and space in
the homes we build. These Sandpiper homes come complete with double-glazed,
centrally heated conservatories. That's as a standard feature, not
as an expensive add- on."
As well as an impressive bay windowed lounge, other light maximising
features in the Sandpiper house design include an innovative sun
tunnel designed to bring light right down onto a spacious gallery
landing in the hall. The master bedroom has an en suite bathroom,
while the three further bedrooms are served by a family bathroom
with both shower and a bath. The property has an integral garage
and a garden.
Benson has just returned from a visit to the Porcelanosa factory
in Spain and is enthusiastic about the quality of workmanship he
can expect from the supplier of his designer kitchens and bathrooms.
"Porcelanosa is synonymous with quality and style," he
says. "The Spanish kitchens and bathrooms in the Sandpiper
homes add to the continental feel of the houses. The big kitchen
dining rooms have wide, open access to the conservatories. Stainless
steel appliances are supplied by Siemens. On a good day you can
open the doors and the whole living space flows naturally into the
garden."
Other luxuries include the fully heated bathroom floor, a standard
feature in each family bathroom at the Ardrossan development.
The Ardrossan location is another positive factor. The houses are
close to the local station and commuters can reach Glasgow in 41
minutes. Equally it is an appealing seaside location for families.
